Bokone Meats Abattoir & Processing Plant is a sophisticated operation with state of the art facilities.
Since joining forces with Agridelight, we have been able to assist the company in accessing capital from government for investment in the red meat value chain.
They produce large volumes of meat in terms of distribution, cold storage, frozen storage, cutting & processing (beef primarily into prime cuts), deboning and packaging.
Bokone Meats specialises in adding value to the meat industry ensuring safe, quality and affordable meat products. The focus is to produce a high quality product, on the plate, for consumers.
The company has grown significantly and we have assisted the company with building a plan, that will allow the company to continue to grow in a sustainable manner while innovating within its industry and expanding into further into multiple retail outlets.
Springbokpan Grain Agripark
The business is well positioned along a major road and within an area with many grain farms. This along with the manner in which the silos are run lead to great production efficiency. The benefits of this project are: unlocking job creation, increasing farmer’s income and creating sustainable livelihoods for the beneficiaries and nearby communities.
Springbokpan Agripark encompasses the following:
- Silo, milling and starch processing;
- Grain farmer development;
- Mechanization and equipment Warehouse;
- Production inputs warehouse;
- Commodity trading and grain logistics;
- Microfinance and investment portfolio management;
- Satellite operations (such as Mooifontein Silos);
- Wholesaling, office park and supporting infrastructure.
The existing marketing channels for the Springbokpan Agripark justify its growth potential and return-on-investment for the proposed business expansion. Payback of total invested capital on the project will be realized in less than four years of operation and cash flow becomes positive from operations immediately.
